Next-Generation Sustainable Apparel
Guided by the circular economy, we design truly people- and planet-friendly wear through sustainable materials, technology, and systems for repair and collection.
We are advancing initiatives that bring together “Sustainability,” “Technology,” and “Design,” redefining clothing as something meant to be worn and used for a long time. Stepping away from conventional industry structures built on mass production and mass consumption, we are grounded in the principles of the circular economy—making only what is needed, in the right amount, with care, and using it for as long as possible. By adopting low-impact materials, designing with repair and maintenance in mind, and building systems for collection and reuse, we treat the entire lifecycle of clothing as a design challenge. Our flagship initiative, the sustainable medical wear brand “sukui,” utilizes hemp and implements a blockchain-based DPP (Digital Product Passport). By visualizing CO₂ emissions and other environmental impact information across each production stage, we enable manufacturing with transparency and trust. What we aim for is not “make it and finish,” but “clothing that evolves as it is used.” Through the power of technology, we make each garment’s story visible and help spread a new set of values—continuing to use what you love, while building lasting attachment.

sukui is a next-generation medical wear brand created with the mission of caring for both people and the environment.
We go beyond ensuring comfort for healthcare professionals. To fulfill our environmental responsibility, we are building a circular model that supports product longevity through maintenance, ensures responsible collection of used wear, and enables reuse—maximizing resource efficiency while reducing environmental impact.
In addition, by using hemp as the primary material, we achieve a carbon-negative approach and implement a DPP (Digital Product Passport) powered by blockchain technology. This makes CO₂ emissions and other environmental impact information visible across each production stage, bringing transparency to environmental traceability.
These innovative initiatives have been recognized with the 2025 Good Design Award.
Professional Workwear Sourcing & Supply

Since our founding, we have been based in the Chikuho area of Fukuoka and have supplied professional wear used across a wide range of workplaces, including healthcare, food, construction, transportation, hospitality, restaurants, and public institutions. Through years of working with diverse industries, we have learned that the nature of the work, work styles, and each organization’s culture all influence what “the right uniform” looks like. We carefully select and provide the best-fit garments from products offered by both domestic and international manufacturers—tailored to each industry and organization’s identity. We believe it matters that people on the front lines can approach their work with confidence—and that their appearance can inspire a sense of reassurance and trust among customers and stakeholders. Professional workwear, in our view, contributes to workplace and corporate branding and serves as a way for each individual to express their identity.
Original Uniform Planning & Development

As a step beyond off-the-shelf solutions, we work on planning and designing original uniforms for companies and organizations. Drawing on the expertise we have cultivated in professional workwear, we explore what “uniforms made to be used for the long term” can be—not only in terms of design, but also with durability, repairability, and changing roles in mind. From a position closely connected to real operations, we are currently advancing planning and development together with select clients, with a focus on practical implementation.
Wear Customization
We customize professional workwear through embroidery and printing. Adding a logo, name, or design to a garment is not only about appearance. Wearing the same design fosters a sense of unity, and the awareness of being part of a team can shape how people approach their work each day. We also provide maintenance services such as hemming, size alterations, and repairs, adjusting garments to suit the wearer’s body and the conditions of each workplace—so they can be used comfortably for the long term. Embroidery, printing, alterations, and repairs are handled in-house, with our designers and technicians working closely together.

Embroidery
Embroidery is a customization method that expresses logos, names, and titles in a refined, long-lasting way.
Since our founding, we have introduced embroidery machines early on, steadily building both technical expertise and expressive capability through close collaboration between in-house embroidery specialists and designers. We use embroidery machines manufactured by Barudan, a trusted leader in professional embroidery equipment. In addition to faithfully reproducing existing designs, we welcome consultations even from rough concepts or unfinished ideas. Our designers and embroidery technicians share intent and translate ideas into form—from cute designs to stylish expressions—tailored to the purpose and atmosphere of each workplace.

Printing
We offer printing services from single-color to full-color options.
With flexible control over size and placement, we can accommodate combinations such as a single-color print on the chest and a full-color design on the back—tailored to your needs. Using a technique commonly known as rubber printing, we apply heat-press bonding for a stable finish that blends well with the fabric. We propose expressive options suited to the purpose—such as communicating a company or team identity clearly, or strengthening a sense of unity.

Maintenance (Alterations & Repairs)
Alterations and repairs are maintenance services that keep wear comfortable and extend its life through adjustments such as hemming and practical repairs.
Professional workwear is worn and washed repeatedly, and over time issues such as uncomfortable hem length, fraying, and abrasion naturally appear. In addition to hemming and size adjustments, we also handle repairs such as fixing frayed seams—tailoring alterations to the wearer’s body and usage environment. Even for off-the-shelf products, bringing a garment to a state where it “fits properly” and “allows effortless movement” reduces stress during wear and helps extend its lifespan. We value the mindset of continuing to use garments by repairing them, rather than assuming replacement.
Segment-Specific E-Commerce
Based on the idea that required wear differs by industry and occupation, we operate e-commerce sites specialized for specific segments.
